Job summary

Clayco is seeking a qualified Superintendent to lead field operations on high-value curtain wall façade projects nationwide. Based on the construction site, you will ensure design plans are followed, monitor progress, and uphold standards to complete projects on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in installing curtain wall façade systems on projects >$30M, ideally with design/build experience.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent is required.
• Ability to supervise construction within budget and schedule.
• Maintain positive relationships with management, owners, trades, and subcontractors.
• Balance and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid safety-first philosophy and practice.
• Strong technical knowledge and adaptability.
• Willingness to travel/relocate.
• Must lift objects ≥60 lbs.
• Walk unlevel terrain, climb scaffolding several stories high.
• On-site exposure to moving parts, fumes, weather, and electrical risk.
• Noise level often moderate to very loud.
• Motivated, hardworking, team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan resources efficiently, reduce costs, and support realistic budgets.
• Coordinate with Subcontractors to optimize time and cost.
• Ensure quality through detail orientation and root-cause analysis.
• Communicate safety expectations and conduct safety audits.
• Inspect work for compliance and correct issues promptly.
• Build strong relationships and be open to feedback while negotiating issues.
