Job summary

American Timber and Steel is seeking a fabrication supervisor to ensure parts meet specifications and oversee daily manufacturing activities. The role requires reading CAD drawings, operating the CNC plasma table, and handling fabrication tasks on the shop floor.

You will lead junior fabricators, coach on best practices, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and enforce safety procedures with proper PPE usage. This is a full-time on-site role in Norwalk, CT.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading CAD 2D and 3D drawings.
• Metal Working Experience.
• Ability to professionally lead staff by example and handle light supervisory duties.
• Experience with fabrication shop equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
