Job summary

American Timber and Steel in Norwalk, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Plasma Operator. You will load and operate the plasma table, review 2D/3D drawings, and fabricate parts to specification. The role requires careful reading of prints, Basic welding knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

You will also operate a forklift and overhead crane, follow all safety procedures, and maintain quality while meeting production schedules. Schedule: 8-5, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to read CAD 2D and 3D drawings accurately.
• Basic welding knowledge is required.
• Experience operating power equipment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Plasma Table to cut parts per drawings.
• Load and run Plasma Table and monitor process.
• Review drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Fabricate items as needed.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane safely.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE use.
