Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX seeks a F-16 Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership and ensure technical integrity for the entire F-16 Enterprise. The role drives safety, airworthiness and operational suitability requirements and leads reviews across milestones and configurations with peers and LoBE teams.

The position directs a staff to deliver customer value within cost and schedule constraints, with emphasis on collaboration and rigorous technical governance.

Qualifications

• Manned aircraft leadership experience required.
• Management experience required.
• Technical leadership in a complex development program with international customers.

Responsibilities

• Direct a staff of F-16 Chief Engineer employees to meet customer, technical integrity, safety and airworthiness commitments.
• Approve engineering configuration baselines and engineering investigations; exercise approval authority on technical matters.
