General Motors Company is seeking a Lead Creative Designer – Performance Studio to lead exterior performance design for GM performance vehicles and programs in Warren, MI. You will drive concept development, mentor a design team, and collaborate with engineering, marketing, and management to balance performance targets with feasibility.

The role requires hands‑on design leadership, advanced sketching and visualization skills, and experience with production programs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the exterior performance design concepts for GM performance vehicles and programs.
• Define and communicate a compelling performance design vision aligned with GM’s design strategy.
• Generate sketches, renderings, and digital models exploring proportion, surfaces, and aero elements with emotion and stance.
• Direct and mentor a small team of designers and collaborate with cross‑functional partners.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Design

7+ years automotive exterior design

Leadership of design themes / sub‑programs

Sketching & visualization (traditional + digital)

Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Alias, Blender, VRED)
