Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, in Leesville, LA to oversee landscape and exterior facility standards. You will guide associates, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate equipment and maintenance while driving efficiency and sustainability within the facilities team.

The role emphasizes leadership, budget awareness, and the use of technology to track work orders and records.

Qualifications

DOT physical required and ability to obtain MEC card.
Valid state driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report.
No DUI/DWI/OUI or reckless driving in last 3 years.
No more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years for commercial driving.
No serious FMCSA violations in 3 years for commercial driving.

Responsibilities

Supervise associates by assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to ensure quality and safety standards.
Train and support associates on company policies and compliance with regulations such as OSHA and DOT.
Manage landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, pest control, and seasonal exterior tasks.
Operate and maintain heavy machinery and vehicles with safety checks and documentation.
Coordinate equipment purchases, budget preparation, and maintenance to optimize operations and reduce costs.
Lead teams by communicating goals and fostering collaboration to meet business priorities.
