Job summary

NextDecade is seeking a Supervisor, Competency & Curriculum Development in Brownsville, TX to lead the design and deployment of CAMS-based competency programs. You will develop competency profiles, design assessments, and drive curriculum development with SMEs to ensure safe, compliant LNG operations.

You will translate CAMS requirements into ABILITY LMS configurations, supervise a team, and drive continuous improvement in training quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in instructional design, training program development, or competency program management.
• 3+ years in heavy industry or regulated operations.
• Experience designing competency-based training systems and assessments.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops with SMEs.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and Competency Management Systems.
• LNG industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage competency program lifecycle from role analysis to system implementation.
• Design competency assessments standards and assessor qualifications.
• Lead curriculum design with SMEs to ensure technically accurate content.
• Maintain training matrix aligned with competency profiles.
• Translate CAMS requirements into ABILITY LMS/CMS specifications.
• QA configuration to ensure learning objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor training staff; coordinate workload.
