Job summary

NextDecade Corporation in Brownsville, TX, seeks a Supervisor, Competency & Curriculum Development to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of CAMS programs at the Rio Grande LNG facility. You will collaborate with operations leadership, SMEs, and the Senior Director, Training to translate complex operations into effective learning solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in instructional design, competency-based training, and LMS configuration (ABILITY).

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive experience in instructional design, training program development, or competency program management.
• Experience in heavy industry, oil and gas, or similar regulated environments.
• Experience with ADDIE, SAM, or Agile Learning Design.
• Familiarity with regulatory training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate competency development lifecycle including role analysis, profiling, validation, and system implementation.
• Design competency assessment methodology with standards and assessor qualification processes.
• Design training programs using adult learning principles with SMEs for technical accuracy.
• Direct instructional design resources to ensure alignment with standards and learning objectives.
• Maintain training matrix through requirements analysis and stakeholder coordination.
• Translate CAMS program requirements into ABILITY LMS/CMS specifications and validate configuration.
