Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Operations experience with an owner/operator at LNG or gas processing facility.
• 2+ years experience with training and competency development.
• Strong understanding of LNG plant operations and processes.
• Experience with operations training and competency development.
• Knowledge of competency-based assessment methodologies.
• Strong instructional and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the performance of operations personnel and their related knowledge across various tasks, ensuring demonstrated competence meets CAMS standards.
• Deliver technical training programs through classroom instruction and field-based training, such as LNG technology and plant operations, safety systems and emergency procedures.
• Support the development and maintenance of role competency profiles for operations personnel, including identification of safety-critical tasks.
• Conduct field assessments and observations to evaluate operator competency in areas such as normal field operations and emergency situations.
• Verify completion of required training curriculum as documented in individual training plans before conducting assessments.
• Document assessment results and provide detailed feedback on competency gaps identified.
