Job summary

Sonesta ES Suites SFO Oyster Point Waterfront is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping teams, supervise room inspections, and train Room Attendants to uphold our cleanliness standards.

You will manage equipment and supplies, coordinate room readiness with laundry and maintenance, address guest requests promptly, and protect hotel assets through preventive maintenance and strong leadership. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 Years' Experience In The Hospitality Industry Housekeeping Required.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both one-on-one and in a group, and ability to listen and respond to questions effectively.
• Ability to delegate, resolve conflict and respect diversity; ability to train and mentor adults.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms and ensure cleaning, sanitizing, linens, supplies and presentation meet standards.
• Provide follow-up training for advanced housekeeping duties and room needs.
• Coordinate with laundry to ensure timely delivery and restocking of supplies.
• Provide refreshers trainings to staff as needed.
• Participate in preventative maintenance reporting and inventory control.
• Notify GM of damages or disturbances and coordinate with maintenance and front desk.
• Oversee housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and banquet areas.
• Assist in managing labor budget, scheduling, overtime and staffing.
