Job summary

Sonesta ES Suites SFO Oyster Point Waterfront in South San Francisco, CA is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to oversee housekeeping associates, conduct room inspections, and train Room Attendants to uphold our cleanliness standards.

You will manage equipment and supply upkeep, coordinate room readiness with other departments, address guest requests promptly, and lead housekeeping teams to maintain sparkling rooms and public areas while protecting hotel assets.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in the hospitality industry housekeeping.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to train and mentor staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms to ensure cleaning and presentation meet brand standards.
• Provide follow-up training for advanced housekeeping duties.
• Coordinate with laundry for timely delivery of linens and supplies.
• Ensure preventive maintenance reporting is completed as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock housekeeping supplies.
• Coordinate with front desk on room readiness and check-in status.
• Lead housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness and service quality.
• Assist in scheduling and staffing within the budget and guidelines.
• Perform other duties including cross training as required.
