Job Description

BryceTech is seeking an Event Specialist to join our team and support the AFWERX program by coordinating and managing events. The successful candidate will work directly with the Air Force Program Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities Include
  1. Provide oversight for a small team.
  2. Coordinate and manage a variety of high-profile, large-scale events involving multiple stakeholders, from planning to post-event analysis.
  3. Collaborate with internal communication teams and leadership to align event planning with strategic goals.
  4. Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.
  5. Identify and secure venues, catering services, vendors, and other resources to meet budget and quality expectations.
  6. Ensure events align with organizational goals and communication strategies.
  7. Work with staff and external partners for successful event operations.
  8. Ensure events comply with organizational guidelines, security requirements, and government protocols.
  9. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure event success.
  10. Maintain detailed records of event planning, contracts, and performance metrics.
  11. Gather and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders to evaluate event performance and identify improvements.
  12. Participate in internal discussions to provide tactical insights for strategic planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, business administration, hospitality management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in event planning or coordination, including 2-3 years in a leadership role managing teams.
  • Military or government experience is preferred.
  • Experience with virtual or hybrid events is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex events, coordinate cross-organizational teams, and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of the full event lifecycle, including post-event analysis and recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of budget management and cost optimization.
  • Proficiency with event planning tools, virtual platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in AP style preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Secret Clearance Required.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
