Job Description

BryceTech is seeking an Event Specialist to join our team to support the AFWERX program in coordinating and managing events. The successful candidate will work directly with the Air Force Program Management Office (PMO). The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide oversight for a small team.
  • Coordinate and manage high-profile, large-scale events involving multiple stakeholders, from planning through post-event analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal communication teams and leadership to align event planning with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.
  • Secure venues, catering, vendors, and other resources within budget and quality standards.
  • Ensure events align with organizational goals and communication strategies.
  • Work with staff and external partners to ensure successful operations.
  • Adhere to organizational guidelines, security requirements, and government protocols.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of planning, contracts, and performance metrics.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to evaluate event performance and identify improvements.
  • Participate in internal discussions to inform strategic planning with tactical insights.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, business administration, hospitality management, marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in event planning or coordination, including 2-3 years in a leadership role managing teams.
  • Military or government experience is preferred.
  • Experience with virtual or hybrid events is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage complex events, coordinate cross-organizational teams, and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of full event lifecycle and post-event analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in dynamic environments.
  • Understanding of budget management and cost control.
  • Proficiency with event planning tools, virtual platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in AP style preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Additional Information

Secret clearance is required.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
