Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of event leadership, CAD/Vectorworks skills, and a track record managing multi-million-dollar programs with attention to detail and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience managing and directing corporate special events.
• Leadership, Management and Accountability skills.
• Experience budgeting with multiple levels.
• Proven ability to manage $500k+ budgets.
• Deep knowledge of large-scale corporate events and productions.
• AutoCAD & Vectorworks design skills.
• Familiar with latest event technologies and integration into experiences.
• Experience leading labor crews of 20+ people.
• Attention to detail and high-quality deliverables.
• Strong client/vendor relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resources to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Follow department protocols for event planning.
• Establish project plans and hold partners accountable.
• Coordinate with internal teams, warehouse and vendors.
• Train and develop future Technical Producers.
• Source and manage vendor/partner support.
• Liaise with AV partners and integrate needs into events.
• Track budget costs and communicate changes clearly.
• Maintain pre/post show margin targets.
• Onsite main point of contact for production.
• Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Creative and others.
• Communicate with clients and manage expectations.
• Manage project budget and expenses, reconcile invoices.
• Provide solutions for presentation needs during events.
• Respond promptly to requests during progress of events.
• Ensure quality of service by AV techs and union labor.
• Manage part-time staff and union assignments.
• Coach staff and provide timely performance feedback.
• All other duties as assigned.
