Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an Event Planning Manager for the Virginia Guesthouse project. You will lead event planning efforts, coordinating with culinary, banquet, sales, and hotel leadership to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction.

The role requires experience in planning banquet/catering events, strong leadership, and proactive project management. Weekend/holiday coverage and collaboration with multiple departments are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and execution of Banquet/Catering events.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Detail-oriented and proactive with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and secure new event business through networking.
• Maintain relationships with corporate, social, and event clients.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, contracts, and BEOs accurately.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings to finalize details.
• Serve as primary client contact from inquiry to event completion.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, Front Office, and Accounting.
• Oversee BEOs, rooming lists, and event documentation for accuracy.
• Attend events as needed, including weekends/holidays.
• Assist billing with deposits and final payments.
• Engage in local networking and industry events.
• Provide reporting on sales activity and performance metrics.
