Job summary

DESRI in Greenwood Village, CO seeks an estimator with EPC estimating experience in utility-scale solar to join its EPC team. You will lead cost estimating for balance of plant, DC/AC electrical and mechanical, and high voltage to support renewable development and construction.

The role blends early-stage and mid-late-stage work with development teams and EPCs, requires travel to sites during proposals, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including year-end bonus, medical coverage,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management required, with 5+ years of estimating utility-scale solar.
Experience with EPC and BOP estimate structures for utility-scale construction.
Willingness to travel to sites during proposal phase.
Ability to work in a collaborative team and with third-party stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead DESRI's cost estimating function for balance of plant construction and high voltage.
Prepare cost estimates for early-stage projects and review EPC bids for optimization.
Coordinate requests for quotes to EPCs and evaluate responses for accuracy and schedule milestones.
