Job summary

Syblon Reid in Caldwell, ID is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop and pursue complex heavy civil projects. You will collaborate with estimating, operations, field leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and business development to turn plans and specifications into executable work scopes.

The role may lead multi-estimator pursuits from early evaluation through final submission, modeling costs, schedules, and technical proposals that reflect value, risk, and safe, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in progressive heavy civil construction estimating.
• Experience leading complex pursuits is preferred.
• Ability to translate plans into compelling proposal content.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks.
• Lead complex project pursuits with cross-functional teams.
• Develop pursuit strategies with estimating, operations, field leadership and exec management.
• Prepare technical proposals and project narratives.
• Develop preliminary schedules and sequencing plans.
• Coordinate input from estimators, PMs, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Ensure bid documents are accurate and submittal-ready.
