Huen Electric, Inc. is seeking a Chief Estimator to lead the Estimating team and drive strategic project selection and growth. You will oversee bids, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring accuracy and competitiveness of all estimates.

This is a high-impact role where you mentor staff, set departmental standards, collaborate with leadership, and help win major commercial and industrial projects across our service areas.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction with lead/senior estimator experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing Estimating team.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive business growth, secure projects, and strengthen client and industry partnerships.
• Oversee bids, estimates, and proposals, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and timely delivery.
• Manage budgets, cost data, and estimating processes to maximize efficiency and precision.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Set expectations, coach staff, and support professional development.
• Establish procedures, prepare reports, and maintain departmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and industry standards.
