Center for Digital Governmtent in Anne Arundel County, Maryland seeks an experienced Equipment Operator for full-time, safety-sensitive work in the Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Division. You will drive heavy vehicles and operate equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, and excavators, while leading a maintenance crew on job sites.

Four or more years of heavy equipment experience and a valid CDL are required; candidates may need Class A.

Qualifications

• Four (4) or more years experience in the operation of heavy-duty automotive and related equipment.
• Must possess a valid commercial Class B motor vehicle operator's license; Class A CDL preferred and required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and lead a maintenance crew handling water and sewer infrastructure projects.
• Drive and operate vehicles and equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, and excavators.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment and assist in repairs as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and outlines safety procedures in all weather conditions.
