Job summary

Raytheon Environmental Test is seeking a Principal Environmental Test Technician in Tucson, AZ to execute environmental tests as part of an IP team with Test Engineers and internal customers.

You will oversee test setup, data acquisition, test equipment control, and troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity while safeguarding classified material. Requires 8+ years in a product development lab with shaker systems and instrumentation; DoD Secret clearance preferred/required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a product development lab.
• Experience with vibration shaker systems and instrumentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up and operation of mechanical shock test systems.
• Perform set-up and operation of electrodynamic vibration systems.
• Configure control and data acquisition systems and instrument placement.
• Execute vibration test methods (random, sine, shock, sine-on-random, random-on-random, drop shock).
• Collect and verify thermal, vibration, and shock data for accuracy.
• Safeguard classified materials, hardware, and documentation.
• Work in closed/proprietary/classified areas.
