Environmental Compliance Consultants inc. (ECC) is hiring a Lead Environmental Technician/Warehouse Supervisor at our JBER service center.

You will lead field and warehouse activities, handle hazardous waste, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a safe, organized facility. The role requires a 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification, ability to pass a DOT drug test, and a background check for access to a military installation.

Qualifications

• Possess or obtain a 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
• Pass pre-employment DOT drug test including marijuana
• Ability to pass a government background check for military installation access
• Ability to wear a full and half face respirator
• Have a positive attitude, integrity, and strong work ethic
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job
• General computer skills

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, secure, and transport cargo
• Lead by example with professionalism, work ethic, accountability, teamwork and safety
• Inspect, handle, and containerize hazardous waste and materials
• Inspect containers and collection areas for regulatory compliance
• Perform routine daily vehicle and equipment inspections
• Maintain and clean industrial systems; oil water separators, etc.
• Spill response, remediation, and clean-up activities
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment and proper housekeeping
• Serve as a working lead in field, warehouse, and operations with the team
• Pump fluids and other materials
• Data entry and record keeping
• Follow safety program requirements as priority one; act safely
• Provide excellent customer service and client relations
• Abide by company drug-free policy including recreational and medicinal marijuana
• Accomplish tasks with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities
