Orange County Sanitation District in California is seeking an Environmental Supervisor to lead the Source Control program. You will supervise inspectors, coordinate pretreatment activities, and ensure compliance with federal and OC San policies.

The role requires a CWEA certification, a science degree, and a CA driver’s license, with responsibilities spanning inspections, investigations, and enforcement actions across field and office settings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field from an accredited college or university.
• Six years of progressive environmental compliance/regulatory monitoring experience; two years in lead or supervisory role.
• Valid CWEA Grade III or higher Environmental Compliance Inspector Certification.
• Valid California Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, assign, supervise, review, and evaluate staff in source control and pretreatment.
• Set priorities for inspections, monitoring, sampling, and regulatory activities.
• Oversee inspections of significant industrial users and other facilities.
• Ensure compliance with 40 CFR Part 403 and local ordinances and permits.
• Coordinate sampling, QA/QC, and field investigations; manage emergency responses.
• Lead enforcement actions and liaise with regulatory and legal teams.
• Develop budgets, staffing plans, and program improvements.
