Job summary

University Health KC is seeking a Sr. Environmental Services Technician for our Kansas City location. You will lead a team of housekeepers, ensuring that cleaning tasks meet hospital-grade standards while maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.

This role requires strong leadership, good communication skills, and previous housekeeping experience. The position offers full-time hours with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. every day.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Confidence using cleaning equipment like floor machines and vacuums.
• Strong understanding of safe cleaning product usage.

Responsibilities

• Be the point person on your shift, directing the housekeeping crew.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Ensure cleaning tasks meet hospital-grade standards.
• Monitor safety and infection control.
