Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year housekeeping experience, healthcare setting preferred.
• Confident using floor machines, vacuums and cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products on different surfaces.
• Natural leadership and ability to guide a team.
• Strong English communication and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the point person on your shift, directing the housekeeping crew with energy and clarity.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed on time and to hospital-grade standards.
• Monitor safety, infection control and overall cleanliness.
• Step in to assist as needed and maintain a positive, collaborative environment.
• Communicate with staff, patients and visitors respectfully.
• Know cleaning gear well and follow product safety instructions.
