Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Data Analytics Discipline Leader to drive analytics capabilities across environmental services. You will collaborate with digital teams, marketing, and clients to advance analytics tools and solutions.

The role requires leading a multidisciplinary team, managing IP and R&D investments, and engaging with global teams to deliver innovative environmental analytics across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 12 years of related experience.
• Travel may be required (domestic and/or international).
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Preferred: Environmental expertise and professional licensure or related certification.
• Master’s degree in science or related discipline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist CDM Smith’s Digital teams in evaluating data analytics technologies for environmental data across applications.
• Collaborate with Sales and Trinnex on technical sales, design and delivery of analytics solutions.
• Coordinate with local, national, and international technical teams to expand capabilities.
• Develop processes to evaluate ideas and initiatives for potential innovation investment.
• Manage IP and R&D investments; prioritize investments and connect to IP protection processes.
• Grow environmental data analytics practitioners within the firm to serve diverse client needs.
• Identify conferences and working groups to enhance technical visibility and promote capabilities.
