Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to support a major electric transmission construction project in New York. This field-based role will oversee environmental compliance and collaborate with construction teams, inspectors, and project management in Syracuse, NY.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental compliance experience within utility, transmission, pipeline, or infrastructure construction.
• Strong knowledge of SWPPP, stormwater, erosion and sediment control, wetlands, and environmental BMPs.
• Experience interpreting environmental permits, plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong field coordination, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working primarily in an active construction environment and traveling throughout the project area.

• Support Article VII compliance, environmental reporting, regulatory inspections, and documentation.
• Coordinate restoration, BMP implementation, spill response, and environmental requirements with field teams.

• Experience with SPDES, SWPPP, erosion control, wetlands, dewatering, and restoration.
