Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Developer to advance solar and energy storage projects across WECC & SPP regions, with a remote work arrangement.

You will own projects from early development through permitting, interconnection, and project execution, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver value in major U.S. power markets.

Qualifications

Job Details
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in power, renewable energy, infrastructure, or related project development
  • Demonstrated experience advancing complex energy or infrastructure projects through multiple stages of development
  • Experience with site evaluation, land, permitting, interconnection/transmission, or other key development functions
  • Strong understanding of the factors that influence project feasibility, risk, timelines, and economics
  • Experience coordinating internal teams, consultants, landowners, utilities, and other external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • to travel periodically as project needs require
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Environmental Science, Real Estate, or a related discipline
  • Experience with utility‑scale energy or infrastructure projects
  • Exposure to renewable generation, energy storage, or other emerging power technologies
  • Knowledge of U.S. power markets, transmission, interconnection, permitting, and/or project finance
  • Experience working with external development partners, consultants, landowners, utilities, or regulatory agencies
  • Experience evaluating new project opportunities and supporting development strategy
