The Department of the Navy seeks an environmental/compliance professional to lead data collection, analysis, and reporting on regulatory compliance for an aerospace repair facility in California. Responsibilities include budgeting, program development, and coordinating with management and installations to forecast and manage environmental impacts.

• Degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Or a combination of education and experience with at least 24 semester hours in the above majors plus related experience.
• For engineering: professional engineering degree or current EI/EIT/PE registration, or FE exam eligibility.
• Equivalent calculus/engineering science coursework or degree with relevant professional experience.

Responsabilidades

• Establish data collection methods, direct data collection, analyze data and draw conclusions on environmental regulatory compliance.
• Assess personnel capabilities and develop plans to meet current, future, and contingency requirements within budget.
• Represent the division in developing new methods to improve environmental compliance and energy conservation.
• Communicate regulatory compliance forecasts and impacts to management and installations.
• Ensure funding for waste disposal, equipment, contracts, salaries, training and travel.
• Manage contractor service contracts and all environmental division funds.
