Job summary

WaferWire Cloud Technologies is seeking a Lead Engineer, Software Systems Engineering to own and evolve our corporate application portfolio. You will lead automation, integration, and modernization efforts across HR, security, CRM, ERP, and IAM tools, while driving SOX compliance and audit readiness.

Responsibilities include architecting identity automation, managing SSO configurations, and guiding a cross-functional team of engineers and admins to deliver scalable, auditable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, CS, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise application experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira Service Management, Confluence, Salesforce, Oracle E-Business Suite, Workday, SailPoint, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Proven ability to design and deliver automation and integration solutions (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow) and integration tools.
• Experience with identity lifecycle management (HR-driven provisioning, RBAC, certs, deprovisioning).
• Track record leading platform migrations / modernization from discovery to cutover.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware/iPaaS, SSO (SAML/OIDC).
• Experience in regulated environments (SOX) and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and modernization of in-house platforms connecting HR onboarding, access governance, provisioning, and device management.
• Define target-state architecture for identity lifecycle automation with HR and security teams.
• Champion automation-first approaches across corporate systems with self-service and event-based workflows.
• Design workflows in Jira Service Management, manage SLAs, and integrate with downstream systems.
• Oversee enterprise integrations across HR, GRC, CRM, and service management platforms using APIs and iPaaS.
• Manage SSO configurations (SAML/OIDC) in partnership with InfoSec and application owners.
• Own strategy, roadmap, and health of corporate application portfolio including ERP, CRM, CRM, and IAM tooling.
• Coordinate vendor management, licensing, renewals, and budgeting for the portfolio.
• Lead a team of systems admins, Salesforce specialists, and integration engineers; ensure SOX and audit readiness.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information systems / Computer Science / related field

7+ years of experience administering, implementing, or supporting enterprise business applications
