Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Enterprise Architect for Application Security & Cloud Platform. The role leads secure-by-design architecture across applications and cloud platforms, collaborating with Security, Engineering, Operations, and business technology teams to satisfy risk, compliance, and modern architectural standards.

The position requires guiding solution and domain architects, defining enterprise guardrails, and driving secure technology choices for Azure, GCP, containers, and legacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in software architecture or cloud platform security.
• 7+ years securing cloud-native architectures in Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise architecture strategy for application security and cloud platform security.
• Develop and govern secure design principles, reference architectures, and reusable security patterns.
• Lead ARBs and oversee major programs for cloud modernization.
• Architect secure patterns for microservices, APIs, and serverless workloads.
• Define secure coding standards and threat modeling frameworks.
• Establish enterprise controls and logging/monitoring.
