Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Architect to lead the Enterprise Defense pillar, shaping architecture across endpoint, network, cloud, and SaaS security. You will guide technical roadmaps, risk reduction, and SIEM/SOAR integration to protect a multi-cloud environment.

The role requires hands-on design, mentoring, and collaboration with product and engineering teams, with emphasis on CSPM, EDR/XDR, and complex deployments in a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, and infrastructure defense.
• 8+ years in enterprise security architect role overseeing multi-domain defense stacks.
• Expertise architecting EDR and XDR platforms and Application Control solutions.
• Deep CSPM and SSPM knowledge with cloud security posture management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design for core Enterprise Defense capabilities, including endpoint and workload protection, such as Enterprise Endpoint Security, EDR and XDR, and Application Control
• Own vulnerability and exposure management, including vulnerability scanning and CTEM
• Design cloud and SaaS posture strategy, including CSPM and SSPM
• Architect messaging and gateway defense, including SEG, DKIM, SPF, DMARC
• Lead network and perimeter defense, including SSE, DLP, and secure browser tech
• Design deception and active defense capabilities with honeypots and canary tokens
• Define and maintain the enterprise defense reference architecture and integration patterns
• Establish technical standards and deployment blueprints across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud
• Align endpoint security strategy with business, security, and regulatory goals
• Partner with product management and engineering leads to drive technical roadmaps
• Design automated workflows linking vulnerability discoveries, threat intelligence, and remediation
• Ensure telemetry integration from all tools into SIEM/SOAR/SOC pipelines
• Lead threat modeling and architecture assessments for endpoints and dependencies
• Evaluate emerging defensive technologies to reduce endpoint/perimeter risk
• Lead PoC evaluations, RFPs, and architectural reviews for M&A in Enterprise Defense
• Work with Scrum teams on active projects
