Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Security Architect to lead the Enterprise Defense pillar across multi-cloud environments, shaping security strategy and overseeing EDR/XDR, CSPM/SSPM implementations, and vulnerability management.

You will partner with product management and engineering to drive roadmaps, manage security architectures for mergers and acquisitions, and mentor engineering teams on defensive architectures.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years in cybersecurity, network security, and infrastructure defense.
• Eight+ years as an enterprise security architect overseeing multi-domain stacks.
• Expertise in EDR/XDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon) and application control solutions.
• Deep CSPM/SSPM knowledge for cloud and SaaS security posture management.
• Experience with vulnerability platforms and API-integrated email security tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design for core Enterprise Defense capabilities including endpoint protection, EDR/XDR, and application control.
• Own vulnerability management, vulnerability scanning, and CTEM processes.
• Design cloud and SaaS posture strategies (CSPM/SSPM) across multi-cloud environments.
• Architect messaging and gateway defense including SEG, DMARC, DKIM, SPF.
• Lead network/perimeter defense, DLP, and secure browser technologies.
• Define enterprise defense reference architecture and deployment blueprints across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud.
• Align endpoint security strategy with business, security, and regulatory goals; drive roadmaps with product/engineering.
• Mentor team members and participate in PoC evaluations, RFPs, and architecture reviews for M&A in Enterprise Defense.
