Leadout Capital is seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of defense capabilities across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. You will drive architecture, threat modeling, and risk-reduction strategies for our Enterprise Defense pillar, aligning with product and engineering to modernize the platform.

Qualifications

You have 15+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, and infrastructure defense.
You have 8+ years in an enterprise security architect role overseeing multi-domain defense stacks.
You have expertise architecting EDR and XDR platforms and Application Control solutions.
You have deep knowledge of CSPM and SSPM tools.
You are proficient with vulnerability platforms and API-integrated email security tools.
You have knowledge of SWG, SSL/TLS decryption at scale, and secure browsers.
You have hands-on experience designing deception environments and Active Directory deception.
You can collaborate with architects and leads to craft architectural vision and roadmap.
You have experience with AWS and/or Azure.
You can create PoC architecture with code.
You have experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab CI.
You can mentor team members, and a related technical degree is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design for core Enterprise Defense capabilities, including endpoint and workload protection, EDR and XDR, and Application Control.
Own vulnerability and exposure management, including vulnerability scanning and CTEM.
Design cloud and SaaS posture strategy, CSPM and SSPM.
Architect messaging and gateway defense, including email security tools like SEG, DMARC, DKIM, SPF.
Lead network and perimeter defense, including SSE, traffic inspection, DLP, and secure browsers.
Design deception and active defense capabilities with honeypots and canary tokens.
Define and maintain enterprise defense reference architecture and integration patterns across platforms.
Establish technical standards and deployment blueprints across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud.
Align endpoint security with business, security, and regulatory goals.
Partner with product management and engineering to drive roadmaps and modernization.
Design automated workflows linking vulnerability discoveries, threat intelligence, and remediation prioritization.
Ensure telemetry from Enterprise Defense tools integrates into SIEM/SOAR/SOC pipelines.
Lead threat modeling and architecture assessments for endpoint components.
Evaluate emerging defensive technologies to reduce risk at endpoint/perimeter.
Lead PoC evaluations, RFP processes, and architecture reviews for M&A in Enterprise Defense.
Work with Scrum teams on active projects.
