Job summary

Bread Financial is seeking a Senior Manager for Data Quality and Metadata Management to lead enterprise governance initiatives across data quality, metadata management, and CDEs in alignment with the Enterprise Data Strategy.

The role partners with business, risk, legal, and technology teams to establish strong data controls, oversee governance platforms, and improve data quality for regulatory reporting. Strong banking governance experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of experience in Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, Master Data Management.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading a Data Management function.

Responsibilities

• Implement data management capabilities such as data cataloging, data lineage, data profiling and monitoring; develop the data management roadmap and lead its execution.
• Collaborate across the organization to ensure engagement, clarity of roles, and delivery of training and improvements.
• Influence strategy, create the roadmap, and manage delivery for all capabilities with a distributed team across the U.S. and India.
