Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to lead the strategy and architecture for enterprise data, ontology, and AI platforms. This role shapes scalable standards across Palantir Foundry/AIP and AWS, enabling secure, governed, and cost-efficient analytics and AI solutions.

You will partner with technology and business leaders to define patterns, roadmaps, and governance, and you will mentor architecture teams while driving alignment with enterprise roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in EA/DA roles with 5+ years in architect capacity.
• 4+ years designing enterprise Data, Cloud, or AI architectures at scale.
• 3+ years with Palantir Foundry and AIP, incl Ontology design and governance.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data modeling, ontology, data mesh, and data product thinking.
• Proficiency with AWS, Snowflake, Kafka/MSK, Spark, Bedrock, SageMaker; Python/SQL fluency.
• Experience leading architecture governance and communicating to executives.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and translate strategy into roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and architecture for enterprise data, ontology, and AI platforms.
• Establish scalable standards across Palantir Foundry/AIP, including Ontology governance.
• Define reference architectures and usage patterns for Foundry/AIP and set guardrails.
• Develop architecture roadmaps that enable secure, governed, cost-effective data use.
• Provide direction for AWS-based data and AI capabilities with security and observability.
• Lead Architecture Review processes and translate strategy into architecture roadmaps.
• Mentor solution architects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field

10+ years in Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or related roles, with 5+ years in an enterprise or domain architect capacity

4+ years designing enterprise Data, Cloud, or AI architectures at scale

3+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP, including Ontology design and governance

Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling, ontology/knowledge graph concepts, data mesh and data product thinking

Strong architecture expertise with AWS, cloud-native patterns, event-driven and API-based integration

Architecture-level experience with Snowflake, Kafka/MSK, Spark, Bedrock, and SageMaker; Python and SQL fluency

Experience architecting AI/ML, GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions, including governance and Responsible AI controls

Working knowledge of data governance frameworks, regulatory and privacy requirements, and security architecture

Familiarity with TOGAF, ArchiMate, or comparable enterprise architecture frameworks and tooling

Proven ability to influence senior technology and business leaders and to communicate architecture decisions to executive audiences

Experience leading architecture governance forums and driving alignment across domains and delivery teams

Strong systems thinking and ability to balance strategic direction with delivery constraints
