Job summary

MTSI is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect to design scalable development and test environments for multiple high-profile acquisition efforts. This role focuses on transitioning on-prem workloads to hyperscale cloud environments and collaborating across organizations to define architecture strategy.

The candidate will evaluate cloud technologies, advise leadership on feasibility, and develop implementation plans while supporting CI/CD in a hybrid setting. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field required (CS or electrical engineering preferred).
• 20+ years in software development, infrastructure design, or DevOps.
• TS security clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with DoD classified development networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable development and test environments for multiple acquisition efforts.
• Transition on-prem workloads to hyperscale cloud environments.
• Collaborate across organizations to define cloud strategy and implementation plans.
• Advise leadership on technical feasibility of cloud/network plans.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and provide substantiated improvements.
• Develop cross-domain solutions for transferring data to cloud and classified networks.
• Support CI/CD in hybrid cloud, with prototyping across on- and off-prem environments.
• Draft roadmaps and estimate cloud total cost of ownership and ROI.
• Assist in organizational processes for cloud adoption and management.
• Help train client personnel for cloud asset adoption and management.
