Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect to design and build scalable cloud environments for multiple high‑profile programs. You will lead efforts to migrate on‑prem workloads into hyperscale clouds and align plans with customer requirements.

The role emphasizes transitioning to IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, supporting hybrid CI/CD, and mentoring teams in cloud technologies while pursuing accreditation and ATO readiness.

Qualifications

12+ years in software development, infrastructure design, or DevOps.
Active U.S. TS clearance required.
BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Experience with cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Responsibilities

Collaborate across organizations to develop cloud architecture and strategy.
Assess and migrate on‑prem workloads to hyperscale cloud environments.
Develop cross‑domain solutions for secure data transfer to classified environments.
Support CI/CD processes in hybrid cloud environments.
Prototype and troubleshoot complex systems spanning on‑prem and cloud.
Mentor others in cloud technologies and contribute to roadmaps.
