Job summary
Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence & Systems Engineer to drive enterprise analytics, reporting, and production support for large-scale programs. You will lead cross-functional teams, govern data solutions, and ensure successful delivery in a hybrid Middletown, NJ setting.
The role requires 15+ years in BI architecture, hands-on BI tools, and SAFe leadership, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 15+ years in BI architecture, analytics delivery, or tech leadership.
- Hands-on BI platforms experience (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP BO).
- Data warehousing, data modeling, ETL, and enterprise reporting.
- Experience with Informatica or SAP Data Services and Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise BI and reporting initiatives aligned to business goals.
- Manage end-to-end delivery: requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment.
- Facilitate SAFe ceremonies and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Oversee production support, incident management, and RCA.
- Architect scalable BI solutions across Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BO.
- Maintain RAID logs, delivery metrics, and executive status reporting.
