Job summary

FAA is seeking a first-level manager to lead a workforce of engineering technicians and support personnel, reporting to the Group Manager within Engineering Services. Applicants must show specialized experience at Pay Band FV-I/FG-13 and demonstrate the ability to set priorities, assign tasks, coach, and approve corrective actions as appropriate.

Position requires project installation/construction experience with safety standards, planning, scheduling, cost management, and resource oversight.

Qualifications

Specialized experience in communicating vision, setting priorities, assigning tasks, monitoring/evaluating performance, coaching, and approving corrective actions.
Experience with project installation, construction, scheduling, cost management and resource management.
Experience in UHF/VHF communications, RF transmission lines, fiber optic systems, TELCO/FTI, construction oversight.

Responsibilities
