Job summary

Kearfott Corporation, a global aerospace and defense leader, seeks a Sr. Engineering Project Manager for 100% onsite work at our Pine Brook, NJ location.

You will drive complex inertial navigation projects from development through sustainment, bridging engineering and operations with cross‑functional teams. Ideal candidates bring 8–12+ years in aerospace or high‑reliability systems, strong engineering leadership, and proficiency with planning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Software, or related discipline) required.
• 8–12+ years in aerospace/defense/high‑reliability systems with progression to leadership roles.
• Experience leading complex development/production programs for inertial navigation, guidance, or sensor systems.
• Strong systems engineering, hardware/software integration, and testing knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead engineers and cross‑functional teams in challenging programs.
• Proficiency with program planning tools (e.g., MS Project, ERP/MRP).
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical program governance for INS, IMUs, gyroscopes, accelerometers, and integrated guidance systems.
• Guide cross‑functional teams through engineering reviews and optimization of design to manufacturing.
• Develop IMS, budgets, and resource plans; monitor execution and risk.
• Oversee contract changes, cost controls, and customer communications.
