Job summary

Kearfott Corporation in Pine Brook, NJ is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support the development and integration of inertial navigation products for aircraft, missiles, and other platforms. You will translate customer needs into system requirements and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 2+ years of related experience, with 15% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
Two or more years of engineering experience, preferably in systems engineering, product development, integration and test, aerospace or defense.
U.S. Citizen and eligible for U.S. Government security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer needs and develop clear system and subsystem requirements.
Capture, decompose, allocate, flow-down, and trace requirements.
Develop system specifications, interfaces, CONOPS, use cases, and analyses.
Support architecture development and interface definitions across subsystems.
Model interfaces among navigation, hardware, software, electrical, mechanical, and test systems.
Contribute to model-based systems engineering and digital engineering activities.
