Job summary

The University of Washington College of Engineering is seeking a Lead Academic Adviser to provide advising, programs, and services for first-year Engineering Undeclared students. The role oversees the Engineering Peer Educator program and partners with ELE to support student leaders and ENG R 490/491, orientation, and pre-quarter training.

Responsibilities include one-on-one advising for approximately 250 undeclared students, Quick Question drop-ins, outreach for students not meeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum four years of advising, student program management, and/or teaching experience.
• Equivalents not substituted for minimum requirements; applicants not meeting qualifications will not be forwarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Engineering Peer Educator program and GEN ST 199.
• Provide one-on-one advising for approximately 250 undeclared engineering students.
• Coordinate program events, orientations, and training activities.
• Support cross-unit collaboration and curriculum planning within EASE.
