Job summary

ECOLAB seeks an Operations and Maintenance Lead Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of ultrapure water, wastewater, and reclamation systems at client facilities in Sherman, Texas. You will drive continuous improvement, train engineers, and manage maintenance programs to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted service.

The role emphasizes data analysis, KPI reporting, and collaboration with engineering teams to optimize performance, cost, and energy efficiency while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) with 3-5 years of experience in operations and maintenance OR >10 years in semiconductor-related water treatment systems.
• Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics experience.
• Preventive and predictive maintenance knowledge.
• Data analysis and performance monitoring skills.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems (CMMS), tools, and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex industry documents.
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations of Ultrapure Water, Wastewater, and Reclamation systems for reliable performance.
• Ensure equipment meets operational targets and efficiency standards.
• Train new operations and maintenance engineers on tasks.
• Create and submit customer proposals and generate vendor RFPs and quotes.
• Present monthly KPIs to customers.
• Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements.
