Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a field-based Construction Manager to oversee construction activities across ultrapure water, wastewater, and reclamation projects. You will drive safe, high-quality execution from initiation through handover, serving as the primary on-site interface between engineering, project management, contractors, and site operations.

You will lead on-site construction, oversee field operations, and ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–8+ years of construction management or site supervision experience.
• Experience with piping systems (PVC, PP, PE, PVDF, SS, CS).
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and installation practices.
• Ability to manage schedules and coordinate field execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction and installation activities through commissioning and handover
• Oversee daily field operations and resolve construction issues
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and constructability requirements
• Manage schedule execution and drive milestone achievement
• Direct mechanical and electrical/control installation activities
• Supervise rigging and heavy equipment operations
• Oversee piping installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Manage receiving, inspection, storage, and tracking of materials
• Lead coordination meetings with contractors and stakeholders
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and issues while supporting customer interactions
