Job summary

Copeland in Sidney, OH is seeking a Senior/Lead Engineer to join the AM and Reliability team. The role focuses on delivering integrated solutions for internal and external customers by collaborating with global lab, simulation, and reliability groups.

You will manage projects using physics-of-failure, modeling tools, and lean practices, and you will engage customers, prepare reports, and present results. A flexible schedule with remote days is offered to support productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of HVACR applications, compressor design, modeling and simulation, durability, and reliability.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global AM lab, simulation, and reliability teams to lead integrated solutions for internal and external customers.
• Complete assigned technical projects using physics-of-failure concepts and advanced engineering tools.
• Engage customers to understand priorities; use project management and lean tools to create schedules and deliver results.
• Prepare engineering reports that summarize projects, draw conclusions, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Communicate project status to customers at various levels with clear presentations of results.
• Identify opportunities to enhance knowledge or processes for TSQ departments.
