Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an Engineer IV in Colorado Springs to serve as a technical advisor on a broad program, overseeing development, budgeting, scheduling, and integration of diverse systems for national defense programs.

The role emphasizes sustainment activities, obsolescence and tech refresh planning, and collaboration with multiple engineering and program disciplines to meet requirements and provide solution options.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS/MS/PhD in engineering with relevant experience or doctorate with required years.
• Broad knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers in development, testing, integration, and sustainment of systems.
• Define test objectives, data requirements, and instrumentation.
• Prepare test plans, track funding, schedule activities, and present results.
• Interface with customers from quotation to final design.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to define system specs and requirements.
• Maintain engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
• Develop technical proposals and provide comments on scope of work.
