Job summary

JT4, LLC, based in the western test ranges, seeks an Engineer I to perform fundamental engineering tasks in design, development, testing, and maintenance of software, electronic, and mechanical systems. The role is entry-level and supports a development, sustainment, or operations team.

Under supervision, you will assist in reference research, calculations, and report preparation, with possible travel to remote sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required.
• Professional knowledge of engineering concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with related engineering fields.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and reference reading to assist higher-level engineers.
• Perform fundamental engineering tasks including tolerance studies and design calculations.
• Plan and carry out engineering steps and resolve problems by standard practices.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, or technical studies.
