Job summary

Flagship Pioneering is seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to own the code and automation that runs our Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environment. Based in Cambridge, MA, you will maintain existing automation, extend it as identities evolve, and ensure lifecycle processes stay reliable as the business grows.

You’ll work with Graph, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, PowerShell, and integration platforms to deliver secure, scalable automation, while acting as a senior escalation point and mentor for

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID with automation.
• Advanced PowerShell with Graph SDK and Exchange Online.
• Proven ability to inherit, troubleshoot, refactor code.
• Experience with Entra lifecycle, PIM, SSO, SCIM provisioning.
• Experience with Exchange Online and SharePoint Online administration.
• REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, JSON, Git workflows, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, extend production automation using Graph, PowerShell, and APIs.
• Ensure secure, least-privilege automation with proper auth and monitoring.
• Maintain Exchange Online and SharePoint Online automation and provisioning.
• Manage joiner/mover/leaver processes across Flagship and portfolio companies.
• Develop Entra lifecycle capabilities and governance features.
• Integrations among HR, ITSM, identity, and collaboration systems.
• Apply engineering practices: source control, testing, runbooks.
• Mentor peers and be escalation point for complex issues.
