Job summary

Flagship Pioneering is seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to own the code and automation that runs our Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environment in Cambridge, MA. You will work with Graph, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online PowerShell, Python tooling, and integration platforms to support portfolio companies.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, code health, and extending capabilities as identities evolve. You will also be a senior escalation point for automation-related issues.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in engineering and supporting Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.
• 3+ years developing and maintaining production automation using Microsoft Graph.
• Hands-on experience with Entra identity lifecycle management, groups and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and extend production automation using Graph, PowerShell, and APIs.
• Engineer secure automation with least-privilege authentication and proper permissions.
• Maintain Exchange Online and SharePoint Online automation for mailboxes, groups, and sites.
• Maintain joiner, mover, and leaver processes across Flagship and portfolio companies.
• Develop Entra capabilities including Lifecycle Workflows, governance, PIM, and SSO.
• Build integrations among HR, ITSM, identity, and collaboration systems.
