Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking an Lead Engineer, Product Engineering in Utica, NY to own the development journey of liquid cooling solutions from concept to production. You will be the technical partner for customers, translating their needs into robust system architectures that enhance performance and reliability.

The role requires a mechanical/thermal engineering background and strong experience in system or sub-system development, with CAD (SolidWorks/Creo) and CFD/thermal analysis

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical/Thermal/Mechatronic engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system or sub-system development or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of advanced liquid cooling systems from concept to production readiness.
• Translate customer needs into detailed specifications and robust system architectures.
• Drive system-level design decisions for thermal efficiency, fluid dynamics, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Define and lead validation and testing strategy to ensure performance.
• Lead cross-functional reviews with components, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
